| Prerequisites: EnCase EnScript Programming - Phase I course or some familiarity with any object-oriented programming language. Advance preparation for this course is not required.
This hands-on course is designed for investigators or programmers with intermediate to advanced computer programming skills. Students will learn advanced EnScript programming which will enhance the efficiency of examinations and extend the functionality of EnCase. Delivery method: Group-Live. NASBA defined level: advanced.
This course covers advanced EnScript functionality.
- Students will learn how to access EnCase global objects
- Students will learn to create graphical user interfaces
- Students will learn to create cases programmatically and load bit-stream evidence files
- Students will learn to create logical evidence files
- Students will learn to create Hypertext Markup Langueage (HTML) pages
- Students will learn to manipulate the database
- Students will learn how to work with Microsoft® Excel, Word, the Common Object Model (COM) and the Windows Management Interface (WMI)
- Students will learn to package and license EnScript files
- Students will learn how to execute applications
- Students will learn to use EnScripts to manipulate EnCase Enterprise
