How do I register for a class after I have purchased a passport?
To register visit http://www.guidancesoftware.com/training/course_listing.aspx for the class(es) that you wish to attend.
Your passport number is your quote/sales order number.
If you do not have access to this information please indicate in the comments section of the registration form
that you have purchased an Annual Training Passport.
I have an Annual Training Passport. Do I have higher priority in getting into a class than a student who does not have one?
Participants will only be eligible to enroll in classes that have available space.
In the case of full classes, participants in this program will be given highest priority on the waiting list.
Spaces may become available in the event of non-paying registrants.
Which training facilities can I attend using the training passport?
Training passports can only be used at Guidance Software Inc. owned training facilities. These include Pasadena, CA (Los Angeles, CA); Houston, TX; Dulles, VA (Washington DC); Rosemont, IL (Chicago, IL) and Slough, UK (United Kingdom).
I am in class this week and I just found out about the Annual Passport program. Can I use the funds that I paid for the class towards the passport and pay the difference?
No, however individuals may upgrade to the Annual Training Passport if the upgrade fee is paid within 14 days of the last day of your course. Please note that the passport will begin on the date of purchase.
Individuals who currently have a one year passport may not upgrade to a two year passport.
Can I use the monies paid for unused training towards a training passport?
Yes. If you have unused training seats and they have not been used within 18 months of the purchase date, then you can use the funds towards a training passport. Please contact
the training department to make this exchange.
Can I pay for a portion of the passport now and then get invoiced for the rest at a later date?
No. The total cost of the training passport must be paid prior to the first day of your first training course.
Is it possible to transfer a passport that was purchased to another individual in our organization if the original user has left?
Yes, organizations may pay a transfer fee if the original Annual Passport user has left the organization. The Passport will then be reassigned to a new user, whose name must be provided at the time of purchase.
The expiration date of the Passport will not be extended; it will still expire one year from the original date of purchase.

My previous employer purchased a passport for me. Can I continue to use the passport under my new organization?
No. Passports can only be used under the organization that purchased them.
I am interested in purchasing software and the annual training passport. I need to purchase the software now but will not be taking training until a later date.
How can I delay the start date of the passport?
In order to have the start date of the passport delayed you will need to purchase it separately from the software order. We recommend that you purchase it closer to the start date of your first class.
How can I find out what my passport number is and when it expires?
