With EnCase® Version 3 and EnCase® Version 4, it is possible to copy/unerase files that have been bookmarked to the investigator's local hard drive. This might be done to conduct further analysis on bookmarked files with other forensic applications or utilities. To "mass" copy/unerase bookmarks:

1. Check the check-box of the top bookmark.
   
2. <Shift>-click on check-box of bottom bookmark. ALL bookmarks will be checked.

3. Right-click anywhere in the Table view. Select the "Tag Selected Files" command

4. If you then switch to the Cases tab, you will notice that the files corresponding to the bookmarks you checked are now also all checked.
   
5. Right-click on one and choose "Copy/Unerase".
   
6. Specify that you want to copy/unerase "all selected files".
   
7. Hit NEXT, NEXT, then FINISH.

All the checked files (what you bookmarked) will be copied to the directory you specified!
